The Ultimate Stalker System for 2D and MV3D.

This plugin is a high-performance horror solution designed for developers who want a relentless, "stalker-style" enemy. Unlike basic chase events, Horror Pro System intelligently manages multiple monsters, adjusts game atmosphere based on proximity, and mimics the player's parkour abilities.

Key Features

  • Intelligent Multi-Monster Audio: Handles an unlimited number of monsters on one map without audio "stacking" or lag. The BGM volume and heartbeat effects are automatically controlled by the closest monster to the player.
  • Adaptive Speed: Monsters dynamically speed up as they get closer to the player, creating a terrifying sense of being overtaken.
  • Advanced Monster Parkour: Monsters aren't stopped by water or small gaps. If they encounter Region 249, they will automatically perform a jump to continue the chase.
  • Cinematic Jumpscares: Features a built-in "Violent Scare" system that triggers a full-screen image, screen shake, and custom audio before sending the player to the Game Over screen.

Compatibility & Requirements

This plugin is built to be a "bridge" between several popular community tools:

  • Movement Systems: * Fully compatible with 2D Parkour System.
    • Fully compatible with MV3D_Parkour for 3D horror games.
    • Monsters utilize the same Region 249 logic to jump over obstacles just like the player.
  • HUD & UI:
    • Designed to work alongside SRD_SuperToolsEngine and SRD_HUDMaker.
    • While the monster has infinite stamina to keep the pressure high, you can use HUD Maker to display the player's stamina using the formulas: $gameParty.leader().stamina and $gameParty.leader().maxStamina().

How to Use

  1. Setup: Add <Stalker> to the Note box of any event you want to become a monster. 
  2. Users can create "Unique Stalkers" by changing these numbers. For example:
    • A Fast but Blind monster: <Stalker: 4, 7, 5, 30, 100, MonsterFace> (Fast speed, but only starts chasing when very close).
    • A Slow but Constant hunter: <Stalker: 3, 3.5, 25, 20, 100, MonsterFace> (Huge detection range, but doesn't speed up much).
    HUD IF you are using SRD_HUDMaker, Users the monster doesn't use stamina, the player still needs to manage theirs to escape!
    • Current Stamina: $gameParty.leader().stamina
    • Max Stamina: $gameParty.leader().maxStamina()
  3. Parkour: Paint Region 249 on tiles like water, pits, or low fences to allow both the player and the monster to jump over them.
  4. Customization: Use the Plugin Manager to set your default speeds, heartbeat volume, and jumpscare image.

  6.    Put your Popout Piture that now comes with File Into img/pictures/ (e.g., "MonsterFace.png").
       Put 'Heartbeat.ogg' and 'Scream.ogg' in audio/se/.
